Your business's Google identifier, or a Google link that contains it.
Short links (maps.app.goo.gl, g.page) do not contain this ID. A link containing placeid=… or place_id:… works.
No account required, no call to Google. Your link and QR code are not saved.
Your link and QR code
Paste your Place ID: the review link and its QR code will appear here.
It will always open the same page. With a Reco.to account, you change its destination without reprinting and you track scans.
See the Google review NFC plaquesA customer ready to leave a review gives up quickly if they have to look for your listing. The direct link skips the whole path.
It takes a minute, with no account and nothing to install.
With Google's Place ID Finder: type your business name, copy the ID.
The direct review link is built from this ID, along with its QR code.
Test the link, then share it wherever customers see you: counter, receipt, email.
The best time to ask for a review is right after the purchase or the service.

Google sets rules on how reviews may be requested. Following them protects your listing and the trust of future customers.
Ask all your customers
Happy or not: a varied set of reviews is more credible than a string of perfect ratings.
Ask at the right time
Right after the purchase or the service, while the experience is still fresh.
Reply to reviews
Positive and negative alike: your replies are public and read by future customers.
Make the link easy to find
At the counter, on the receipt, in the confirmation email: where the customer already is.
Offering something in return
A discount, a gift or a prize draw entry in exchange for a review: Google forbids it.
Filtering your customers
Sending the link only to happy customers, or asking for a rating before redirecting them to Google, is forbidden.
Writing or buying reviews
Reviews written by you, your family, your staff, or bought: Google can remove them and penalize your listing.
These points follow Google's rules for content posted on Google Maps. They may change: when in doubt, refer to the rules published by Google.
Yes. The link and the QR code are free, with no sign-up and no time limit: they point straight to Google, without going through Reco.to.
It is your business's unique identifier at Google. The direct review link is built from it. You can find it in seconds with Google's Place ID Finder, linked under the generator's field.
Try the full address or the exact name shown on Google Maps. Businesses without a public address, which travel to their customers, are sometimes not found this way. In your Google Business Profile, the “Ask for reviews” button gives a short link you can share as is, or turn into a QR code with our generator. Create a QR code from a link
Yes, Google requires customers to be signed in to post a review. The link opens the form directly, or the Google sign-in page if the customer is not signed in.
No, as long as your Google listing exists. In rare cases Google can change a listing's Place ID, for example after a merge: test your link from time to time.
No: a static QR code contains the link itself. To change the destination without reprinting, use a dynamic QR code. Create a Reco.to account
Not with a static QR code. A dynamic QR code or an NFC plaque linked to Reco.to counts every scan. See the analytics
Allow at least 2 cm (0.8 in) per side on a receipt, and 3 to 5 cm (1.2 to 2 in) on a counter or a window. For a print shop, send the SVG file: it stays sharp at any size.
It is only used to build the link, on our servers, without any call to Google. Neither the Place ID, the link nor the QR code is saved.
With a Reco.to account, the printed QR code stays the same: you change its destination whenever you want and see how many customers scan it. No credit card.
The static link and QR code remain free, with no account.
